Hello Dame and All! I am leaving first thing in the AM for New York and a few days of theatre! The Disco Party with K.C. and The Sunshine Band was fun, Dame. You will have a good time flashing back to the 1970s. I also saw Harry Connick, Jr. and his Band this week at Chastain Park. I enjoyed that show very much, also. Happy Mojitos to everyone and I'll check in next week to let you know how my trip was. Cheers!
Dgrant,
We saw "I never sang for my father" at steppenwolf. With kevin Anderson. It was very good. The play is perhaps a little dated and sentimental. But a great evening at the theater.

DAME,
What are you doing in Indy?
Have a great weekend everyone. I'll be at work, thinking of Mojitos.
Im in Indy visiting friends of my partner. Checked out the local theater scene and it is a litle scary. (example; a staged version of sordid lives). Going to Talbot strett tonight.
Dame! Thanks for the Happy Friday Mojito messages! I went to the Angelika Film Center yesterday afternoon and watched the documentary, "Broadway: the Golden Age." Quite an interesting little show...and it was followed by Rick McKay, the creator, in a talkback. He had a special guest appear as well: Michele Lee. Strange choice given the show was about theatre in the 40s-60s but I guess she was in it at the end.
Bartending at the theatre... as always.
Had a lovely lunch at the lake shore this afternoon.
Giving the dog a bath...
Watched 'Die Another Day'... saw Pierce Brosnan give Halle Berry a mojito. Laughed every time he said 'mojito' Which is 3x by my count.
Yes... it is a glamourous life, I know.
Well, we made it through the wedding. At home now. Having an after reception party. My brother-in-law and I misread the margarita lable and put in WAY too much tequila into it so we are drinking triple strength margaritas!!! Then I remembered I had some vanilla gelato in the freezer!! Way yummy!!!! Well our oldest is now married and we have a GREAT son-in-law!! HAPPY HAPPY here!!! How was your Saturday?
Barbara (the slightly poop-faced!)
Well Dame I hope you are having/had fun here in Indy even though it can tend to be boring.
A staged version of Sordid Lives IS scary! Let me know what your opinion of TOTS production because I am kind of wary of going to see it. A local community theatre is doing Violet and I hear it's good so I am hoping to go see that.
