No, I didn't and was hoping to find spoilers here. Turns out there aren't any.

Spoil away.

I guess the spoiler alert was a preemptive attempt at making sure that those who tivo'ed wouldnt be shocked!

I was in tears! Kutner was my favorite team member. I figured if one of them was going to off themselves it would have been Taub, who always seems depressed about something...

I was spoiled about this, and the whole idea was that no one would see it coming. Taub, with his suicidal history and his depression, was sort of a red herring. But Kutner? Cheerful, clever Kutner who was doing great at work? There's no apparent reason for it, and that's just how the writers wanted it. It helps that they've kept Kutner the most opaque of the newbies - they must have done that on purpose. House and the rest of the cast are going to drive themselves crazy over this for the rest of the season.

(Oh, and the larger reason for this is that Kal Penn got a job working for the Obama administration. So yay for him, though I'm terribly sad at losing his character.)

On a lighter note, did anyone catch the Rocky Horror shout-out? Meat Loaf played a character named "Eddie".

AH, if the White House thing doesn't last, he can alwasy do ghost or flash back episodes like Marc Greene on ER. Still an interesting gig.

I turned on the TV ten minutes late, thinking that I wouldn't have missed too much. HAH! The commercials ended and suddenly they were all sitting around a table talking about Kutner's suicide. I turned it off soon after so I could watch the whole thing together online.

TOTALLY shocking, but I think that's the point. Sometimes you can't see the pain someone is going through, because sometimes that person will do everything to hide it. And sometimes it just doesn't make sense.

I'm not surprised to see that the actor wanted out, though. Despite getting a life lesson on the suddenness of suicide, it doesn't seem like a move the writers would make otherwise.

Didn't see that coming at all. Total shocker. I loved Kutner re: HOUSE: Did anyone watch/see that coming? **SPOILERS**

I was tottally caught off guard and was saddened cuz I loved Kuttner. While im happy for kal penn i think it will bring out the best of the actors. I think last nights episode may have been the best acting i have seen on the show and have watched it since the very first episode. Btw, the saddest part for me was when Taub broke down crying at the end. I was so moved by that and felt so bad and wanted to like give him a hug.

I knew that Taub putting up such a tough front wouldn't last long...I was expecting a break down at the end of the show.
Totally heart wrenching...

I don't think this storyline will end, though. It seems like House may be obsessed with figuring it all out.
