The Fringe show I'm working on needs a chess set. We need one with fairly heavy pieces that will stay in place for scene changes and we won't have to spend five minutes before each scene resetting all the little pieces that fell over.
Does anyone here know where I can find something like that for not much money? The sets we're using in rehearsal cost about $2 and the set my playwright wants costs over $80. There has got to be something in between.
