Posted: 10/12/08 at 8:46pmAs a Hillary supporter I REALLY wanted Hillary as Obama's VP but Biden is great. He has the Hillary's blessing and I really think looking back he may have been the better choice.WHats great is the Clinton's and the Biden's really like each other. It shows. They look like good people and Joe speaks from thr heart, which is why he sometimes says the wrong thing. He doesn't plan out his answers, he just talks to the people. Who would you want running the country if something happened to the Prez? Sarah Palin or Joe Biden? Joe knows what a VP does and doesn't have to ask on public television.

Hillary was fantastic, Joe was great... I was once again let down by Bill tho. It seems almost difficult for him to say Obama's name. There was maybe one line in his whole speech about Obama.
but whatever... Hillary was fantastic.

Posted: 10/12/08 at 9:11pmI've been hearing Bill has done more speaking events for Obama than Hillary. Bill Clinton always impresses me. Just him there giving a speech for Obama in my opinion speaks volumes.

Posted: 10/12/08 at 10:43pmThe Clintons have done their share in this election. They have gone out and campaigned despite their own personal feelings about Obama. They recognized their importance in this election and have worked to bring the Democratic Party together. I agree that Joe Biden is an excellent choice as a VP but Hillary should have been the nominee or VP. She received the most votes in the primaries and it was the right thing to do. Despite that treatment she has still gone out and campaigned. Hopefully she and Bill will have active roles in the Obama administration and this country can bounce back from 8 years of futility.

Posted: 10/12/08 at 11:11pmI really like Hillary but I'm sure that if she was selected, the race would have gotten dirtier a lot earlier. The GOP would have brought up every piece of dirt they could have on her. Part of me wonders what could have happened if she was the nominee. I think McCain looked at Palin because since she never ran for president, they couldn't pull up any footage of her challenging McCain. I think the Clintons are wonderful public speakers and the way they have raised their daughter is just downright commendable! The way Palin has paraded her kids around is dispicable!

Are you kidding me? You really think the Republican base would be going wild over a black guy? Black people would have sighed, shaken their heads and unenthusiastically voted for Hillary as a nearly autonomous group.
I mean, MAYBE Colin Powell or Condoleeza, but that's a big, big maybe. No, if Hillary were running he would've picked Lieberman.

I think they will too. President Obama knows he'll need a good experienced team around him. I'd expect him to be a top advisor on foreign policy and the economy and for Hillary to head up Health Care or even be nominated to the Supreme Court.
And the GOP (and Ol' Milky Loads) will go apeshytte!!
