Posted: 11/5/05 at 9:52am...it has been driving me nuts how many people misspell (yes correct spelling of that word), "lose" as "loose". What is going on with that? With so many college students I'm shocked. "Loose" is not fastened tight, not restrained, slack. "Lose" is to have pass from one's possession, to be deprived of, to waste, to be defeated, to fail to keep or to get rid of. Again, I'm not trying to be annoying with this, but please, please try to not spell "loose" when you mean "lose". Much love to all and if you could refrain from throwing really big stones my way I'd appreciate it.

All the spelling mistakes on this board drive me crazy, so I understand. But I have just learned to ignore it (for the most part, some days I'll say something just because it's irking me and I am grumpy), because if you try to fix everyone's spelling and grammar, you will be in way over your head.
