Sorry to complain, I hate it when other people do but...yeah, sorry. But I've realized that I have never made it into a show. I have been in shows, short films and various other things but I was either asked to by friends, or they were shows where no one was cut, or something to that nature. I have never auditioned and then been cast because I was the best or fit the part.
Yeah, I don't know. I'm just sick and tired of never being good enough, and constantly being rejected. Sorry to rant. I just needed to write it out, so here it is.
This too shall pass.
It's not really being GOOD enough for something, but rather waiting patiently until the right thing comes along. If performing in shows and being in films or whatnot is something that you want to DO, then keep doing it. At least you'll be able to say that at least you tried. It's frustrating not knowing when to give up, because your opportunity may be the next one that comes up. But that is your judgement call...and if you're just so passionate and you care about something so much, SOMETHING good's bound to happen.

*cough* BWW didn't get me very far. F-ing never ending callback auditions, and then not being cast, oh what fun Feb. 2, 2006...you must audition again to be in the ensemble. -.- I shall smile and suck it up, because I need a recommendation from the director who happens to be my English teacher.
You may just need to practice your auditioning skills...it really does make a difference.
I thought audition = rejection? "If you have the heart, you will earn the part.". Someone told me that many years ago, and I still feel like they were full of sh&%!
Don't stop trying.

It never stops, my wife is 41 and she had five auditions this week and no call backs thus far!
