I've been auditioning for MFA programs in Acting, and I received my first offer this morning. From Florida State University. I'm amped! Woo-hoo!

Congrats! They do have a great Theater program though of course I'm more partial to the UF one since that's where I went 
I'm still waiting for my grad school offers...it's so unnerving.

Posted: 2/18/08 at 3:52pmWell, I am an FSU grad (although it was way before most of you were born!). As an Art History major, all of my classes were in the Fine Arts/Theatre building. FSU is a beautiful school with rolling hills and lovely old buildings mixed in with the new. The people are very friendly and the weather is great all year. They have a wonderful theatre department. The MFA Program in Acting is actually like 4 hours away from the rest of the FSU campus. They work closely with the Asolo Repertory Theatre (where A Tale of Two Cities has been running pre-Broadway... 5 of the FSU MFA students were cast in that run!), and you're Equity-eligible when you graduate. Sounds like a neat program. I'm going out to visit a week from Thursday.
I'm still hoping for more offers. I really like the idea of FSU, but I also sort of want to have options at my fingertips. :P
