I need help with my balls

After hearing Pete Schweddy on "Delicious Dish" talk about his Christmas balls, I've always dreamed of a holiday filled with tasty, delightful balls, but to no avail. I've tried several different approaches, but I can see it in my friend's and family's faces when I present them; My balls aren't what they should be.

Can anyone help with a recipe? Have you actually tasted a Schweddy Ball? Is his bakery still in business? I know so many people who would love wake up Christmas Morning to a sack of Schweddy balls!

I've heard they are both sweet n salty? I tried Chef's Salty Balls and found them a little TOO salty for my taste.

With any baking, the secret is just the right amount of beating. With just the right amount of beating, they're nice and tender. Too much beating, and they become tough.

I prefer those who make their balls blue for Hannukah. Schweddy Blue Balls are quite the holiday treat.

Ooooh Channukah Balls would be wonderful! I also love Easter balls! As A dear friend of mine would often observe "It's the balls that make a nice basket!"

Heck, I have heard rumors of people using Schweddy Balls in place of Matzo Balls at Passover - they are that tasty and delicious.

well, apparently Schweddy did try canning his balls some years back, but it was a very hairy process and his balls seemed to have been crushed in the process

yes, and I'll admit, some holidays my balls just aren't Shwetty, yes in the past I have used fake Schweddies
