I wish he would do more movies. He was very good in Shortbus. I do love his voice. Very relaxing and pure.

He is a very talented young man with a beautiful voice. He's the gay Joni Mitchell. Having seen him in concert, he is a true talent with great songwriting skills. I hope he has a lot of success.

Every time I hear the song though, my eyes well up. He sings from the heart and its rare these days to get such simple honest music. This man should be more famous IMO.

I love Jay Brannan. He's fantastic in concert and the absolute nicest guy. When I saw his show last year at the Highline Ballroom, he stayed after to talk to literally every single person that wanted to meet him. I was dawdling (and stalking the entire cast of Shortbus and John Cameron Mitchell, of course), so I was one of the last ones there, a full hour after he finished his show, and he was still completely sweet and adorable. A real class act.

I was at the Highline show, too. I wasn't that familiar with him prior to it, but I really, really enjoyed the show.

He's really something!

I'm looking forward to buying his next album when it comes out on July 1st!!
