Did anyone see it? Her first appearance on the show and she slipped and dropped the f-bomb.
On another note, SNL just keeps getting worse and worse.

Posted: 9/27/09 at 2:42amI didn't see it, but heard about it. Hopefully that site will have a clip. What happened exactly? What was going on in the clip?

It's up!
What's funny or sad or understandable? is that I didn't even notice it when it happened. It was so in character.

Yeah, I noticed right away but my roommate didn't so we had to rewind and check again. I felt bad for her given it was her first show, I hope they don't make a big deal about it.
The sketch is about a talk show hosted by Slate who plays a redneck biker girl and co-hosted by her mom's best friend played by Kristen Wiig. Megan Fox played the host's best friend who was also a guest in the talk show. They say "freaking" every other word, and Slate just let the other F-word slip, it was pretty funny and shocking, and she made that face right after she said it.
Kristen Wiig is the show's only saving grace.

I hope she does not get into trouble for this. It was clearly an accident and I bet she did not sleep at all last night.

Posted: 9/27/09 at 10:01amSo disappointed! There was so much good material over the summer and none of it was used! The Thursday Primetime shows are so much better! My daughter came in on one of the Keenan sketches and she commented on how all of his characters are the same.

Posted: 9/27/09 at 10:49amHopefully, she won't get into too much trouble. She certainly has people talking about SNL. Maybe she'll get a public hand slap and a private thanks.

I thought she said that!
In other news, that was one of the WORST SNL episodes I've had the misfortune of watching. I kept watching hoping it might get better, but it didn't.

maybe it was edited for the west coast because I didn't really notice it...
anyway... that was a HORRIBLE sketch and completely unfunny that it was painful!

Posted: 9/27/09 at 12:15pmWhy would the writers even let the new girl do a sketch where she would obviously have a slip up sooner or later? I mean, if I was saying friggen every few seconds, I would drop the f-bomb on accident sooner or later.

It's like the sketch a few years ago when Beyonce' was the host. There's a group touring a winery and they come to a room where the "cork soakers" work. They talk about how hard it is to "soak cork" properly. Beyonce' had to say things like, "Could I learn how to soak a cork? Would I be a good cork soaker?"
She never said the wrong words, but she did break up a few times.

That was Janet Jackson Jon...
The show this week seemed to suffer from Thursday Night Live syndrome. All the work went into doing Thursdays show live and they threw together Saturday's.
Seth really needs a co-anchor.

Jean K Jean makes me laugh. Every time. Zut alors!
I wonder why none of the supporting women were bumped up to regular cast member. Kristin Wiig is still the only woman in the main cast, right?

Posted: 9/27/09 at 2:52pmI barely noticed it because it was so late I was only half-paying attention. But I heard on a tour of NBC studios that the TV ratings company decided that SNL is on late enough at night not to have a delay. Seriously, parents who don't want their kids to hear somebody accidentally drop and f-bomb shouldn't let them stay up until 11:30 to see a skit on Saturday Night Live.

The couple times they were on delay (Andrew Dice Clay) there were major technical screw ups.
I watched the sketch and it slipped by me. Perhaps I am just too used to hearing the word in normal conversation.

Posted: 9/27/09 at 3:23pmIt's SNL! It's on at midnight! If you are up watching TV at midnight, you've heard the f-word. Who cares?

I thought Kristin Wiig was going to start co-anchoring with Seth.
Seth addressed that rumor in a recent interview: that was never the plan; it would prevent her from being able to play guest characters like Judy Grimes.

Posted: 9/27/09 at 6:47pmHe really needs someone else on update. He does not carry it well by himself. It is so apparent when you compare it to Thursdays show when Amy co-anchors!
