I was driving tonight and heard a remake of Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl"...
*headdesk*
Has it really been long enough for their to be a remake.
*dusts off her "Hard to Hold" cassette"

I LOVE Rick Springfield...yes, I am a big 'ole 'mo.
Have seen him in concert many times...and highly recommend the following cd:

Couldn't find the group online and it drove me crazy enough to the point that I called the radio station to find out who it was. The guy that answered the phone was arguing with me that it was Rick Springfield and I told him that it most definitely was not. He put me on hold and when he came back sheepishly told me it was a group called Freakin A. I much prefer Rick Springfield's version. More than you all wanted to know, but I felt like sharing.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2. "unleash the girly"

I'm so sorry...I must have been on a Patrick rant and missed it.
As for the remake...I don't like it. Much prefer Rick's version.
I saw him in concert in the mid-80s and he was fabulous. And so darned cute. And I loved him as Dr. Noah Drake on "General Hospital"...

You're forgiven, Beac! I saw him too!! Garden State Arts Center, 7th row center. Snuck my camera in and got some great pics! As a long time GH viewer, I also adored Dr. Noah Drake!
