I am watching this "Jingle Ball Rock" concert on Fox5, and I am rather dissapointed. 
I had such high hopes for Hillary Duff. She has a good voice, but she too has fallen victim to Lip-Synching. Beyonce, Simple Plan, and Kelly Clarkson all performed without Lip-Synching (I don't know if Jessica Simpson did because I only heard her part...I wasn't actually watching her sing). But if they can all sing without special effects, why couldn't Hillary? It makes me wonder if she can really sing well without machines assisting her voice?

Is it because Hilary Duff is just as manufactured as the rest of the pop world?

Jessica was indeed performing live! I made a point to watch her throat closely =)
As a fan of Lizzie MacGuire, I too was dissapointed with Hillary. I love the girl to death, and think shes super-talented, but unfortunately I don't think she has the vocal chops to sing live =*((
But her cd is awesome and it;'s one o fmy guilty pleasures!
All in all I did enjoy the concert though!

I thought Jennifer Lopez was going to perform ? It was kind of false advertising. lol All she did was walk out to introduce smeone else. She could have at least hosted the event and introduced each performer.
I like Beyonce. I think she has the vocal talents of a young Whitney Houston. Hopeflly she won't grow up to be like Whitney. lol
