Republican Hypocrisy!

i think you folks should bring up his pow days as much as possible. if you could make fun of them too, that would really help.
Hey, I admire McCain for his service and am actually kind of shocked they are not using that as much as I thought during his campaign. However, aren't what Michelle Obama and McCain said here very similar?
Except, in the analogy, she decided to love America because her husband is running for President and he did because he was being captured and held for years while fighting for that same country.
This is not a winning comparison for the Dem side.
Actually, her full quote says nothing of the sort. I use to think the same thing until I heard what she said before the infamous quote. To be fair, I don't think McCain meant anything negative either. Point is the Republicans are asking for you to look the other way and then criticize Michelle for the same exact same thing McCain said. If a Democrat said the exact quote McCain said there would be the same outcry. Like I said, hypocrisy at its best!
like i said, make this argument loudly and often.
Only if the right argues that Michelle hates America and only recently was proud of her country. McCain is just as guilty of what they accuse her of.
loudly and often.
Ditto!
romantico, I know the whole quote.
This is a losing argument. Even if McCain said he actively hated the country until he was fighting for it in the jungles in Vietnam and had years to realize how great it was. This just won't fly politically.
I'm not making a judgment on the validity of the points, I agree that neither quote should matter and Michelle Obama did nothing wrong, but this whole appeal really does not have legs.
I completly agree romantico... "Pot calling the kettle black=-)"
Apples and oranges. I'm in agreement with smartpenguin.
