Anyone else start it yet? I'm a little peeved by the new fight styles and menus. I liked the look of the first game's menus better. Any thoughts?

Started playing - haven't actually gotten INTO the worlds yet - up to the Struggle...this game takes a while to get started (and the street performer thing had me bugging out because I was SURE I could do better than 30 munny -- but nope, I ended up just doing the skateboard thing over and over till I had enough). Anyway -- you can change the menu to look like the first game...

Go under CONFIG under the main menu - there's a choice to change the menu style.

Graphics and sound so far are great. The mini-games at the start there were kind of annoying. I'm looking forward to getting to the main game...though every review I've read said it's pretty easy. Still, the first one was SO much fun, I'm definitely looking forward to it.

The cut scenes are really starting to annoy me. Nearly five hours in, I'm JUST at the first "world" - Hollow Bastion - and probably 3/4 of that time is on those damn cut scenes. This game better start getting better fast...

It started getting better for me around Port Royal, but before that I wanted to kill myself. You can skip the cutscenes, but that might mean missing the story.

All my friends are MIA this weekend playing it. I'll just hear about the good stuff from them...
Although, I'm trying to find downloads of "Passion" and "Sanctuary." Anyone know where I can find some?

I was thinking of skipping the scenes, but I haven't yet. If this is the game, then I don't want to miss the story. If they make a third one, they HAVE to cut down on this early stuff - it's ridiculous.

All right - I got to the fun part - the Mulan scene is great - but I'm stuck. How the heck do you get to the Imperial Village??? I tried using the wind jumping thing, but that didn't seem to work...

I even have the guide and it just says - go to the Imperial City! What am I missing???

This game was too easy. The first one seemed to take forever to beat, but it was a lot of fun. I beat this one in about a week. I'm glad I rented it because if I spent $50 and beat it in a week I would have been mad.

My friend is obsessed with this, he played halfway on easy accidentally then restarted cause he thought it was too easy. His one complaint is too much watching, not enough playing. Lots of random cut scenes that are unnecessary

At least in this game you can skip the cut scenes. In the last game you had to sit through them.

I'm only on the Hercules board now - the cut scenes start getting me so angry that I can't play for more than a half hour or so at a time. I would skip them, but I would feel cheated - it's a no win situation here - why did they think this was such a good idea??? The game itself is also LUDICROUSLY easy. If the graphics weren't so incredible, I would have quit long ago.

I know, I made it through the whole game with only having to "continue" once. In the last game I died at least 20 times trying to beat Ansem, but I just flew right through the final level. It was kind of sad.

I got it a week ago. I'm really far into it. The cut scenes can feel long, but they add to the story and I do like the story a lot.
