She WAS engaged to Marc Kudish but this was a few years ago. That didn't happen because of their conflicting faiths so i heard.

re: Kristin Chenoweth

She is NOT Jewish! (not to insult the Jews, because I myself am Jewish) She is Christian and it shows by the cross necklace you would see her wearing. Just look at this picture (sorry, I couldn't use one picture without the other, it was all one file). It's from the L.A. bow of Caroline, or Change, which she attended.

Plus you can't call someone Jewish if she releases a CD with a few songs about Jesus on it.

Can I ask what difference it makes if she's married or not? (Not trying to be a b**ch, just a curious question.)

"Plus you can't call someone Jewish if she releases a CD with a few songs about Jesus on it"

um hello? Neil Diamond (big old Jew) has a Christmas CD chocked full of songs about Jesus....but I would still call him a Jew.

and while she may not be a Jew, one thing that Cheno certainly is, is......ANNOYING AS HELL!

Don't f*ck with me fellas. This ain't my first time at the rodeo.

Interesting. I heard it was conflicting something else.

Oh, and Babs released a Christmas Album also. Last I heard she was still Jewish, too.

PEACE.

Yes, I was kidding. I just LOVE the reaction saying that brings forth from her fans.

And Sueleen beat me to it, but I would like too point you to Barbra's recordings of, "Silent Night," "Ave Maria," "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem," and the two CDs entitled "Christmas Memories" and "Christmas Album."

Because someone records songs about Jesus they are automatically not Jewish? Are you for real?

A) if someone reports to be Jewish and sings songs about Jesus (who they dont believe in) then yes, I'd say they are hypocrites.

B) it is my life's goal to make sure everyone everywhere knows how much i dislike the chirpy teeny harpy that is Chenoweth.

C&A if you really dislike her that much, just stay away from Kristin threads. These forums were created to celebrate performers and performances not just blatantly bitch about them. If you had something constructive to say, then fine but we all know that you don't, so as I mentioned earlier, avoid the Kristin threads.

Yeah about this jewish people singing Jesus songs...YOu guys have to remember that Christmas doesn't count really because the holiday is more about commercialism than faith when it comes to recordings. I mean really, ANY recording artist worth their salt will come out with a Christmas album. That doesn't mean they believe what they sing (you don't even have to be jewish not to believe in the divinity of Jesus). However, when was the last time a jewish person released a bunch of Christian praise songs (none of which have anything to do with Christmas)on a recording, 4 months after Christmas. Unless you're a jew for Jesus, which does happen, it just doesn't seem likely.

She isn't a hypocrite. She's singing. She's doing her job and making a few dollars.

Hell, if I wanted the money I'd sing songs about Satan (I'm a Christian) just to make a few dollars.

Let her sing.
