LADY & THE TRAMP - 50th Anniversary

Happy Golden Anniversary to LADY & THE TRAMP!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I love Disney movies, and that particular one will always have a special place in my heart. It's the last movie I remember seeing at a drive in as a child. I had to choose between it and the Muppet Movie.. I think I chose well, though I adore the muppets :)

Those cats scared the crap out of me when I was little...

Frightening, I tell you...

They scared me too! As did the rat!

I never understood what the danger was in having a rat in the house...silly really. Oh! Tramp was in the house to kill a rat! Let's go save him!

I adore Disney movies. Even though I came to this one fairly late in life (for some reason), it's one of my favorites.
