Leslie Jordan

I went to see Leslie Jordan's new show last night in Memphis. That man is incredibly funny. He told marvelous stories about his life, Faye Dunaway, Paul Hogan, Mark Harmon etc. I don't believe I've ever laughed that hard in my life.

He's very funny. I haven't seen his show but I'm greatly anticipating "Sordid Lives" the TV series on Logo!

He mentioned the Sordid Lives tv show last night. I can not wait to see it.
The Faye Dunaway section was hysterical. He said that even off-set she could find her light. Imagine him doing it.

He told us all to go buy the book because he wants to be on the NYT bestseller list. He said he needs the money to pay off rentboy.com bills.

He's performing with the Men's Chorus on Pride weekend. Looking forward to it.

I'd love to see him. Is he touring? Does he have a website? Didn't even know he had a book out. I love him!

Hey, NMartin. I was there, too. I had a great time, and I've spent a lot of today trying to recount those stories for others. I knew it was going to be a great evening, and I was not disappointed. I also thought it was very poignant at times, and I could appreciate the importance of his story to those in the audience. What a fun night!

Saw Eddie Izzard the night before - I've kinda been on a mini-break from real life! Whoo Hoo!

He had a show in East Hampton a few years ago and I did an interview with him for Hampton Jitney Magazine. He is a peach.
Love, him. You wont find a nicer more adorable guy.

I was looking for some of his stand up on youtube and found this. Damn, I wish there was more. They cut it off after 29 seconds but this is just a small taste of his humor and camp.

n2005, he said very little about Will and Grace. He did mention it at the very beginning and said the line about 'gin and regret'.

He did a book signing at my church over Memorial Day weekend. I was out of town, but pre-ordered the book! It's delightful!

I did not know about the book. Absolutely loved him on Will and Grace and other shows. Before he opens his mouth, I start laughing.

I know what you mean, Broadwaylady. As soon as the house lights went down, I grinned, and when he entered I broke out in a very large smile.
His show also had a point to it. A lot of it was about accepting yourself. I was very touched by it as well as laughing my ass off.
