Happened to see a promo last night for this new installment of Biography on A&E tonight. Seeing as Liza has become a joke in recent years, it will be interesting to see if her reputation and legacy can be revived a bit. I think she was interviewed for this, and I hope she is refreshingly candid about herself -- and doesn't do the Hollywood soft-soap oh-that-really-wasn't-a-big-deal-Life-was-always-rosey-with-Mama schtick she has done in the past.
But somehow I doubt it.
I loved the way they went from 1981 - 2004 in about 12 minutes. And you think she would have put on something other than a sweat suit for the interview.
Tivo'd it. wathing it next week when I get back to LA. Still... who saw it? And without being annoyingly mean; how did she come off?
I enjoy any kind of program that highlights moments from Broadway, but that biography was a bunch of fluff. :[
How many times could they possibly cut to Liza singing in the studio in 2004? They barely mentioned anything about any of her marriages. She came off as very charming and personable, but they really didn't talk about anything very deep. If it's on I say watch it, but don't be too upset if you miss it.
All I could think of was the paper on a hotel toilet- You Know-

It was okay, but I for some reason expected more.
