Yeah, me too... I'll be driving over 50 miles each way tonight, on the freeway, in what they're predicting will be pouring rain.

At least we fixed the leak in my skylight.

Tonight/tomorrow is supposed to be the end of it for a while.

On another note, driving home from SM yesterday I looked at the local mountains, and they are freaking beautiful filled with snow!

I almost pointed and said "oooh, pretty"

Tomorrow is supposed to clear off for a bit, but they're predicting another system by next weekend sometime.

YWIW - glad you got the skylight fixed (that can sometimes be tricky!) And our mountains here are just gorgeous with the snow - especially if I look at them from beside the pool

I want to try and get to the Getty as soon as the systems blow through. The air should be crystal clear between the rain and wind, so the views should be phenomenal.

DAME - yes, the rain is supposed to continue into the morning (sorry about the drive ) but then clear through later in the day. Still cloudy and overcast through Tuesday (slight showers maybe,) and then sunny on Wednesday.

YWIW??? - TOTALLY a paperwork day. I might try to trek it to a bookstore later on but otherwise I'm indoors.

I should've gotten my errands done yesterday. Luckily the path to the laundry room in my building is covered and dry! :)

Anyone else getting a sudden urge for some good, hearty soup?


Roxy - not knocking it. I actually LOVE it! Except for the fact that this city is not prepared to handle rain, rain makes me very happy :)

Rainy days are indeed nice but you cannot always prepare for rain. Over 30 years ago (pre global warming) I was in las vegas. They had torrential rains & there was a city unprepared. I remember they were using cranes to pull cars out of Caesars parking lot as it was flooded.
