Who else reads his books? I remember there was a thread for the Wayside Stories books awhile ago...

I read "There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom" for the first time in a couple of years last night... I finished it in one sitting and was reading it in bed with the aid of a flashlight; I was sleepy but couldn't seem to put it down. And whaddya know, it made me CRY. I had tears...just...streaming down my face. Here's a book that's like 4th or 5th grade reading level. It's simple and witty and so POIGANT and TOUCHING.

Maybe it's just me being a 5th grader at heart, but I think I will always adore his books.

Anyone else?

I LOVE the Wayside books! I haven't read any of them in such a long time, but I remember them from elementary school. I must see if I can find some of them!

The Wayside books were so twisted, yet charming. I loved them.

Holes wasn't too bad, either. And I even liked the movie version.
