What kind or size of a makeup kit would be appropriate if I'm looking for one to last a while and be versitile enough for practically any show. I have a small simple one right now that will probably last me till closing night but when it's gone I'll need something bigger so that I'll have one ready the next time I'm cast in any show.

BEN NYE!

I chose, and my world was shaken. So what? The choice may have been mistaken. The choosing was not.

Ben Nye and Graftobian are both wonderful. I also prefer Ben Nye myself. But both of their beginning kits are wonderful. Just visit their websites and check them out. =]

Darling, at LVA you do a makeup unit your sophomore year. Dont worry about it until then.

I like Ben Nye, and I've used their stuff for dance makeup as well as general theater makeup. It's been awhile since I've ordered from them, but I seem to remember their prices being pretty reasonable as well.
