I have a really difficult time finding monologues. I was wondering if anybody here had a great site or resource that provides a search feature where you can filter by age, gender, ect for monologues from plays.
Also, it would help if anybody could post the names of any plays that other teen girls have found great audition monologues from.
Finally, what should I look for in monologues (besides similarities in age, character type, ect)? Like, how to know if it going to demonstrate acing ability..? I dont know if that makes sense.
Thanks for all the help!!

For example, I love doing those tear-jerker pieces, but my drama teacher tells me that those are pretty easy emotions that people can get into, so she tells me to explore more options. Hope this helps and let me know.
