Monologue Help! Please!!

I'm working on putting together my senior show, which [in theory] will be a compilation of pieces about fashion, clothes, and sewing, because in addition to my desire to be a performer, I also desire to be a costumer. I have all the songs I need, but I have no monologues whatsoever, and I have yet to find anything I think fits. I've looked at the following shows - Quilters, Aida, Intimate Apparel, and Grey Gardens - to no avail. I don't even know where to go from here, no one seems to be able to help...even if you know if a show that might have something I could use, I would really appreciate it if you'd let me know!! Thanks so much!

Look into Joseph... Dreamcoat, H2$ (Paris Original), Hello, Dolly! (Sunday Clothes), Evita (Rainbow High), Drowsy (Fancy Dress), and PJ Game.

You could probably find a lot of fashion-related dialogue/monologue/songs from Legally Blonde. The first thing that came to my head was the dress store scene in "Omigod You Guys"

Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it - but I'm looking more for a spoken monologue rather than lyrics to a song. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know!

Monologues in musicals? I think you might have better luck looking in plays. Usually, musicals have songs in the place of a play's monologue. Of course, I don't really know of many (or any, for that matter) plays in general. Have you tried googling "fashion monologue broadway"? That might help, but you've probably done that. It's hard to find an actual monologue in a musical, much less one on a specific topic. As I said before, there would probably be some good dialogue scenes from Legally Blonde if you're also looking for scenes.

Yeah - I've been looking in straight plays as well to no avail...I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I come across something.
