Monologue Help. Please?!

I've always dreaded that I'd have to ask for monologue advice but the time has come...

Okay, I need a monologue for a theatre competition. It needs to be Contemporary Dramatic Male. I would really like it to be from a play.. I've looked and looked but I haven't had any luck finding what I want. Any ideas? Updated On: 9/17/08 at 03:19 PM

Something from a contemporary musical (1980 or more recent) put not too rocky or poppy. Check out Secret Garden, Scarlet Pimpernel, stuff like that.
