CORPSE BRIDE - Burton's return to stop motion animation. What else must be said?

THE FOUNTAIN - Aronofsky has made one of the most creative films I've ever seen (Pi) as well as one of the best overall films I've ever seen (Requiem...). I can't wait to see what he does with a larger budget.

THE BROTHERS GRIMM - While the constant delays have me underwhelmed, I'll follow Terry Gilliam anywhere. However, I'm not looking as forward to this as I am looking forward to....

TIDELAND - Go to www.tidelandthemovie.com and indulge.

THE NEW WORLD - Terrence Mallick. Jaw dropping cinematography. When the twain meets....magic occurs.

BROKEN FLOWERS - Bill Murray continues his winning streak before he goes on a well-deserved hiatus.

A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE - Cronenberg has always been one of my favorite overlooked directors (Crash, the version about people with the auto crash fetish, is a masterpiece) and advance word is very very very good on this.

STRANGERS WITH CANDY - Enough. Friggin. Said.

SHOPGIRL - Steve Martin doing what he does best: Writing.

and that's about it. I don't think I'm forgetting anything else. Those seem to be the only films that are on my must-list for the rest of the....oh wait....

RENT - Fooled you, I did.

Harry Potter and Narnia are both on my list, as well as a few from yours. Plus The Producers, Proof, and Zorro.

Hey, don't joke about the RENT movie like that!! It's at the top of MY list, as well as a lot of other peoples.

The New World and Narnia are my only two other MUST see's.

RENT and The Producers are the top movies I'm looking forward to.

I'm not a gay stereotype. I'm a coincidence.

Corpse Bride, Narnia, New World, Charlie...Factory, and Harry.

I've seen RENT and I've seen the old Producers. Is there really going to be a difference? They're not on my list.

In order of coming out:

--Charlie and the Chocolate Factory [Johnny and Freddie together again! aww]
--Zorro... I remember watching the old Mask of Zorro, and afterwards hearing that the sequel was coming out in 2005 I was so devastated because I thought 2005 was so far away! Well now it's finally here and I hope the movie delivers.
--RENT: the OBC together again with a few add ins. My chance to see RENT with my favorite RENTers. I really hope there is a midnight showing in my area or no school on Veteran's Day.
--HP: the fourth I've seen and read every Harry Potter. More obsessed with LOTR, but I'm still excited for this one because I am hoping they redeem themselves after the third.
--Narnia. Loved the books and I'm excited that Weta Workshop from LOTR is going to be doing Narnia.
--King Kong... Peter Jackson. His name will get me to the movie theatre opening night just to see the movie. On top of that, the movie itself looks amazing and the CG master has done it again.
--The Fountain [TBA date] Hugh Jackman is my favorite actor in the world. Screw the people who chose Ewan over Hugh, but I'm excited to FINALLY see the Fountain after hearing and reading so much about it

And that's my list... and it will probably grow more. And these are JUST the movies I will see opening night! I am excited for a full-fledged season of good movies to come out!
