BEOWULF - Crispin Glover as Grendel? I'm already there.
GRIND HOUSE - Anything directed by Tarantino promises to be fun and stylish. Anything directed by Rodriguez that isn't in 3-D also promises to be fun and stylish. This should be a fun movie.
HOT FUZZ - SHAUN OF THE DEAD was awesome. Can't wait to see what those guys do next.
KNOCKED UP - THE 40-YEAR OLD VIRGIN was also awesome. Can't wait to see what those guys do next.
THE SIMPSONS MOVIE - Still kind of skeptical at this point but it should still be an interesting bit of cinema. THE SIMPSONS have been accused of many things but being boring is not one of them.
and my most anticipated by far...
THERE WILL BE BLOOD - Paul Thomas Anderson is someone who I will follow anywhere. This is not just anywhere but into the heart of what sounds to be a great story with serious political overtones. As an added bonus, Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano are in it as well. I've been salivating for this since I heard about it nearly two years ago.

Forgot to add BE KIND REWIND and CHARLIE WILSON'S WAR in there as well.

Definitely ... the film is getting tons of buzz, so it should be interesting to see if it lives up to the hype. Especially with the very interesting casting...
Hairspray and Dreamgirls, cause it's not gonna be out here until 2007

touchme . . . when you say "The Golden Age," do you mean the sequels to the documentary, or is there another movie by that title?

Just got back from seeing Pursuit of Happiness (which is very excellent, BTW), and they ran a trailer for Reign Over Me, the upcoming film with Don Cheedle and Adam Sandler. "That" looks very good!

I have to say that I'm really looking forward to His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass as well. I love the books, and the cast seems to have shaped up to be amazing... Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig will be perfect as Coulter and Asriel, and I'm glad that they cast a British unknown as Lyra (though we can only hope that that turned out a bit better than it did initially for the Harry Potter films).

spider, the golden age is Cate Blanchett reprising her role as Queen Elizabeth...it will be remarkable at worst.
Oh! Then never mind to what I previously said.
Breaking and Entering
I'm holding out hope for Amy Heckerling's new movie...it got delayed which doesn't bode well, but every time CLUELESS is on cable, I can't help but sit back and watch the whole damn thing. LOVE that movie!
Spider-Man 3
The first two were wonderful; I wonder if they can keep it up.
Oh, and RATATOUILLE which is supposed to be one of the best Pixar films ever. From what I hear from inside sources, it is going to be better than THE INCREDIBLES.
And of course, the one movie coming out in 2007 that I can't wait to see; SHREK THE THIRD.
