Musical Theatre and Dance courses in Australia

Im currently studying in the UK but wish to pursue further training in Australia. I'm not sure where to start looking, as reputation is a bit part of choosing a good school. If anyone knows any schools/colleges/Universities that offer courses in this field with a high standard of training, please help!!!

The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts offers the best Musical Theatre degree in the country. Graduates of the course get work in Australia and overseas (many grads working in the West End). The work done at the school is outstanding. The Arts Academy at Ballarat University in Victoria is also beginning to make a name for itself in Musical Theatre training. The standard of the work is variable but some graduates are exceptional talents. These are the two major musical theatre training courses in the country.

Also worth a look is the Singer/Dancer/Actor one year part time course at NIDA in Sydney. Also the VCA offers a part-time musical theatre course that may be coming a full time course.

For dance training in MT style, I believe Sydney offers a few good options. Brent Street School is a name that I hear often. Don't know a whole lot about dance training but I know that VCA has a reputable dance degree as does WAAPA.
