My cat, Alley...

...was hit by a car last night. She is not meant to be outdoors, and I would always get so mad when she would get out. She loved it outside. My mom was letting the dog in last night and Alley got out. My mom did all she could to keep her in...she even grabbed her tail. When she gets out, she usually is at the door in the morning. My mom was calling her and calling her. She did not have her glasses on, but she saw something black in the street...it was Alley.

She told me after school. I was very upset.

We got her after my other cat, Panther, died about a year ago. She would only let me hold her and stuff.

My dog, Mocha, will miss her very much.

Please keep my mom in your thoughts...she feels this is all her fault and is very upset.

No! I'm so sorry. I lost a cat that way, too. We had a mostly indoor siamese named Simon. he would go outside and then ask to be let back in. My dad let him out before church one morning and, as we were getting ready to leave, simon was running from the street, heaving. He fell and died a few minutes later. He had been sideswiped by a car.
I am so sorry. Losing a pet is rough.

Tell your Mom that it's not her fault, and that you've been thinking that the cat was having suicidal tendancies...

Aww, poor kitty. I'm sorry! My cat died over the summer, he was also hit by a car. Tell your mom it isn't her fault, cats will be cats...

aww, I am sorry. I even cried when my hamster died and I didn't love it that much. It must be so hard It's not your mom's fault!
