Sadly, I can't attend on Thursday, as I will be at Disneyland, rehearsing for a new show until midnight. Yes, midnight. Oy.
Don't let that stop you from going on Thursday, though!
I'll definitely keep in mind. As you know - travelling to that part of CA from the Valley during rush hour isn't exactly the most pleasant of things.
I'd ask for the day off, but the boss just gave me the Saturday before Labor Day off (with her working on Saturday instead) to do the New York trip so I doubt she is feeling particularly charitable.
I'm game......
Patronus, rush hour on Saturday?
And I am for making a day of it I LOVE Temecula Oldtown, as they have a Saturday morning street fair.
Do we have to getickets now??? or....I know at our fil festivals here tix go fast.
OOPS, and congrats Erika
Elphaba, I actually get out of work at 5:00 on Saturday, right when the show is starting. I suppose I could make the "after show events".
We were thinking of coming out on Thursday night during rush hour.

Elphaba - I think I'm going to go ahead and order my ticket asap. Unfortunately, the site doesn't have a way to order online (and hey, if I figured out how to set up PayPal for ordering my new CD off my website, you'd think they could use PayPal, too, right?), but here's the info I found:
You can print an order form off the site & Fax it to (951) 506-4193
To purchase ticket by phone or mail, please make checks or money order payable to TVIFF and mail to:

Personally, I'm waiting for word back from the producer as to whether or not I can get one of the filmmaker's passes they were given. If not, I guess I'll just buy an individual ticket...or maybe the day pass. Haven't decided.
Patronus: I wish I didn't have rehearsal Thursday night! I'd love to go down there with you and Anji. =(

Just thought I'd add some stills from the movie...

Can you tell I'm playing a comedic role?
I'll call today
oh Patronus, that's too bad ;o(

It sounds to me like a meeting in Old Town during the Street Fair, and then heading over for the movie - does that sound plausable?
Every time I see these stills I think of Annie Potts as Iona in Pretty in Pink. :)
Elphaba - Yes, I really wish I could make it. I want to see this film. Have you guys planned a post-film evening of debauchery yet? I might be able to make it to something after the fact.

We would have to leave soon after the movie, because we have to get ready for a trip that starts the next day.
DG I like that idea.....Iwant and I were thinking lunch and movie, I can eaisly do streetfair/lunch and movie.
I'd want to leave after the movie anyway to get home

Streetfair/lunch/movie sounds like the best option (sorry, Patronus! But there's always ANYTHING GOES . . .) Maybe meet at noon at a designated spot and go on from there?
Well, balls. & Damn the man.
I tried to shift my work days around and get off that afternoon to come play and it didn't work out.
Oh well, I'll be there in spirit. I'll buy two tickets and send headshots of Anji and I and masking tape with YWIW???.
we'll hang them from the highest rafters, patronus.....
Works for me. Or, I could just call you on my cell phone and go ne ner ne ner ne ner.
Alas...I couldn't answer because of the Orwellian cell phone policy at my office. However, it would be a highly amusing voice mail to keep saved if I got a collective Nee-ner-nee-ner from the west coast contingent of BWW.
well, you me, and DG, and Erica probably should exchange cell phone numbers so we can firm this all up once we get closer.....somehow I don't want to be roaming around Temecula looking for you all, and my only descriptions are
She's an old hag and an evil Queen
He only has initials
She has cats that should have been named Ying and Yang as her avatar reflects that
heh heh

O, Elphaba, you're hilarious!
I'm trying to get everyone to just post in one thread, so I chose the CD one (It had the most technical info in it), and put info for the film and play there, as well. Please go here to continue posting:
