Maybe we're one step closer to marriage equality in NJ.
NJ governor to sign ban on gay conversion therapy
It's definitely a step in the right direction. Here's hoping it opens the door to more positive changes.
Interesting he says people are born gay and that it's not a sin. I guess he was feeling particularly sadistic when he vetoed gay marriage. Christie's veto of gay marriage is the only thing stopping marriage equality in NJ right now.

When I first saw the headline this morning it took me by surprise. I think it's great that he did it but I don't know how he can say this but still deny rights to the LBGT citizens of his state.
My only thought is that he's setting himself up for an about face to throw his hat in the presidential ring.
I literally don't trust him as far as I can throw him.
And that's not very far.
This is good (though it seems like such an obvious law I can't believe only two states in the country have it), but he's STILL the person standing in the way of marriage equality in NJ.

In all honesty can anyone really throw him? He can't even be lifted. You'll get a hernia trying! LoL!
John Fugelsang said it best. "Moderate Chris Christie bravely bans gay conversion therapy to show his support for all those gays he finds unworthy of marriage rights."
"This is good...but he's STILL the person standing in the way of marriage equality in NJ. "

Hard to believe that NJ is only the second state to do this.
What's taking all the rest so long?
