NY Jets Win

Posted: 1/9/10 at 8:19pmI would chalk this up more to the Bengals lost, than the Jets won. The Bengals should have had six more points because of the kicker. The Jets should give Carson Palmer the game ball; He was all over the place today, underthrowing and overthrowing.

horse hockey, frogs. edwards dropped a touchdown and two penalties negated another field goal. it shouldn't have even been close.
the rookie sanchize had a freaking 139 qb rating and shonn greene was ripping off 5 or 6 yards every time he touched the ball. even when they stacked 8 in the box to stop him.
the jets d has been real all year. they're the #1 d in the league across the board. you know ho many td passes they've given up in 17 games including this one? 9.
the jets won this game and beat the bungles half to death, but it shouldn't have even been this close.
the colts and or bolts might be re-thinking who they want to face next week.

Posted: 1/10/10 at 9:08amThose GD Eagles...they just break my heart every year. I'm DONE with them until they lose McNabb and/or Andy Reid. DONE I TELL YOU.

Posted: 1/10/10 at 10:10amThe Eagles' loss last night was not pretty. However the game I'm looking forward to is the Ravens-Patriots game today. I'm really hoping the Ravens win, although in the back of my mind I don't think they will.

I'll be rooting for the Ravens, too, and for a couple of reasons. There's much the like about the Ravens, like Ray Rice and Joe Flacco. Then, there's the fact that they're playing the Patriots.
In the other game, I'll be rooting for the Packers, but I feel less strongly about that game. The game I'm really dreading is next week's Cowboys/Vikes game. I despise both of them. Well, I despise Favre rather than the Vikings. But I guess I'll be rooting for the Cowboys, which goes against my nature.

Rooting for the COWBOYS, Madbrian!!?!
You have broken my heart.

The alternative is Favre, and that is not an option. I will be rooting against whoever wins that game in the NFC final.
And while it takes A LOT for me to root for the Cowboys, I find the current team, particularly Romo and Miles Austin, far more tolerable than prior teams. So, I guess I despise the concept of the Cowboys much more than the current players. Though, as long as they're owned by Jerry Jones, there will always be something to despise.

I'm a Pats fan all the way, but after seeing THE BLIND SIDE this weekend, I kinda have a soft spot for the Ravens, if only for Michael Oher. But in the end, my heart's with New England.

Posted: 1/10/10 at 11:49amFavre is such a tool...I just can't root for ANYONE in that game. Maybe the earth will open up and swallow BOTH teams!

Namo, Iwas just about to type that Roxy has an extra fork this week!
Jets won this game out and out. Farve is a tool, and I hope he loses next week. I would love to see GB go farther than Minnesota just because of the crap Aaron Rodgers has had to deal with.

I guess you two never make mistakes. Must be nice to be perfect.
By the way, all the professional sportcasters are shocked the Jets are in.
By the way, retire the "fork" as I have awhile ago In addition, your avatar fits you perfectly. Good choice.

danmag, really? reid and mcnabb win 11 with the league's 2nd youngest team, get whupped by a better dallas team that happens to be peaking at just the right time and you're done with them? typical philly phan.
i want to see favre's arm simply fall off his body and watch him refuse to be taken out of the game and try to win it left handed. and then the earth can open up an swallow both teams.

Trying it left handed can be fun.
Roxy, if I pick the avatar, I understand its multiple meanings. You can't really use my choice to make fun of me. And whoop de doo, you retired your fork phrase. Who cares? You've also moved to using "Wildhorn" as every other punchline. You're repetitious and always will be. You wouldn't have even noticed you over-used "stick a fork in" if so many people here hadn't pointed it out. Just like "the shiite is hitting the fans." You have a million of em.

Roxy, I was just happy you posted something with good news, as opposed to some of your usual posts.
And, I make plenty of mistakes. One was thinking you had a sense of humor.

Maybe they can bring back Buddy Ryan.
Just kidding.
