Betty, you got me. I am supposed to see "Follies" on Sunday with my sons, but I'm not sacrificing our welfare to see a show...even if it's one of my favorites and Bernadette is in it. It pains me to lose the money for the tickets, but such is life.

Betty, the producer and theater owner don't care if ticket holders cant' get there. Well of course they care, but only when a performance is cancelled are they obliged to make a refund. So that's really the last-minute alternative.

The shows are NOT going on...I wasn't scared before but now I am.

New World Stages has cancelled shows also.

You know it is serious when New World Stages cancels shows.

I wonder when the subway shuts down will you notice it from their regular non existent weekend service.
