TRAILER
Is it anywhere else online? I can't get it to work!
It looks much more promising here than it did in the initial teaser.
Saw this trailer a couple of weeks ago, and let me tell you, Narnia and King Kong are going to make my December.
Hmm... the trailer seems to give away a lot. But, it looks good. I really think that Jack Black could make a great serious actor.
This looks like it could be good.
Still worried about it being 3 hours...
They've given way too much away, I think. Spielberg handled WAR OF THE WORLDS far better, holding back major images of the alien machinery until the film had been open a while, and then craftily issued a new print ad. KING KONG no doubt has many surprises, but the reveal of the title character should've been far briefer. After all, this movie, a 2nd remake, has a built in set of iconic images; we should have to plunk down our money to see just how Jackson reconceived it.
But then, I think most trailers these days give away the store. Plots are routinely ruined, and apparently, per Joel Siegel, the Annison/Clive secrets in their thriller are all but blown in the preview.
I'm with Aigoo,
This looks like is't gonna rock!
I actually don't feel like they gave anything away that we already don't know, for the most part. I mean, it's a CGI gorilla.
Now that's a f**kin' trailer!!! Looks awesome! Can't wait!
Love the trailer. The moment with Kong rushing forward to battle the T-Rex gives me shivers.
I don't think much has been given away. It's common knowledge that Kong climbs up the Empire State Building, and there's only so much variance in how a gorilla looks. Plus it might be advantageous to show a generous amount of juicy footage to convince moviegoers that it's worth seeing, even though they already know the storyline.
Knowing Jackson, there's probably a helluva lot he's got up his sleeve that we haven't seen yet.

I saw the trailer tonight just before a screening of "Jarhead."
"King Kong" definitely looks like it's worth seeing in a theatre. Quite something.
And yes, I liked "Jarhead."
