OK, I need to write a little article for a newspaper and I have no idea what to write about that won't be fluffcrap.

Any ideas on what you would like to read about? Keep in mind, I have to have this in really soon, but it won't be printed until March 2nd. So- needs to be a little more timeless than today's news.

The controversy over tenure in higher education would be a good topic.

Why not write about the fact that you had to write about something and you didn't have anything to write about and the effort you went to to try and find something to write about but you never could find anything to write about so you asked people on an Internet site for ideas about what you could write about but they didn't have anything for you to write about and so here you are, stuck - with nothing to write about when you really need something to write about?

Write about depressed girls who abuse drugs and alcohol to get over their self esteem issues.

It worked for a whole .5 seconds of The Today Show.
