Obama just decreed that the US taxpayer will guarantee car warranties.
"if you buy a car from Chrysler or General Motors, you
will be able to get your car serviced and repaired, just like
always. Your warrantee will be safe.
In fact, it will be safer than it's ever been. Because
starting today, the United States government will stand behind
your warrantee."

Yeah, I thought it was sort of weird that it was the only part of the speech that was addressed. Nor do I think it is anything to be upset about. If the US government doesn't assist the auto industry, GM and Chrysler would probably die, but I don't expect the government to simply give them money and let them continue running themselves in the ground. That's not aid, that's enabling.

Of course I agree with that. Except when four other BWW posters PM me and ask why Craig follows me around and singles me out, I'd like to know what response to give them. It's not random, there is a definite pattern of you stalking me.
