Posted: 7/25/08 at 10:12amHey everyone! On Monday I am going to those Spiderman auditions in New York just for some fun... but I have a question. It says on Playbill that sign in starts at 9:30 and PLEASE DON'T ARRIVE ANY EARLIER! Buttt I thought that people usually arrived very early for open auditions to get a good spot? I was planning on being there around 8, but now I don't know. Haha just some advice please :)

Posted: 7/25/08 at 10:32pmsometimes for calls like these when they say "sign in not till 930" they dont allow you to officially sign up till then but, people start sitting outside the studios as early as 5am with an unofficial sign up sheet which most of the time gets honored... if it gets too crazy, they usually type out people in groups of 10-35 by your headshot, resume and way you look in person. Sometimes they ask for you to go down the line in front of everyone and sing a line of a show they teach you (like bucks county) other times they ask you to say good morning in your loudest voice to hear how you speak.
