Just watched this movie with a friend and my mom and brother... it's crazy. It was made like 6 years ago I think and I've heard about it from a few people and wanted to see it, finally did.
It's filmed really uniquely and the whole concept is insane. I can't even explain the movie, but I enjoyed it... it was different. Anyone else seen it? If so, you like it?
Just wanna see if anyone has heard of it or seen it and get some opinions and discussion...

I saw one of his other movies, the one with Ellen Burstyn. I liked it a lot but could not get into Pi.

Those two movies pretty much cover Aronofsky's body of work, at least until The Fountain comes out later this year.
Requiem... also a great movie, the book was good too. Both were pretty crazy and intense, I recommend both of em.
And haven't heard of The Fountain but might have to see it.
Pi was fantastic. As was Requiem for a Dream. Disturbing.
Aronofsky actually wrote an amazing treatment for the early Batman film, but WB found it to be too dark and instead went with the Goyer treatment that eventually became Batman Begins.
Loved both PI and REQUIEM. I was hoping ARONOFSKY would direct RENT.

haha, press return... that guy was nuts and I really want to know how to play that japanese game they played lol.
Also, that's a cool fact about the Batman thing... I personally wouldn't have wanted him to do that movie though, it woulda been too weird. Also, just not mainstream enough, the masses wouldn't enjoy it. Plus, the Batman Begins movie was amazing, I loved it! It was dark enough I thought, just great... can't wait for the next. So don't think I would want a different version come along...
I agree with you on that. I am a big Batman fan and I felt Batman Begins was close to perfect.
There was one thing I did have a problem with that could have been changed by omitting/changing one line, but it's just a person preference.
Pi is a terrific film. Very interesting, disturbing and haunting.
One of my favorite movies. I can't wait until "The Fountain" comes out this winter. Requiem for a Dream is one of my favorite films ever.
