While I can't go so far as to say I think it's insulting, it does seem to be rather beside the point. There's what Judy did, and then there's anything else. Not really a discussable issue to my mind.

So true... Judy is right up there... I love the old reel of the Judy Garland show where Ethel Merman stops by when Babs is Judy's guest and the three of them sing. The old guard and the new guard... How prophetic.

Have you looked at Babs singing with them? She's kind of hysterical. :) But I love Judy's duets with Peggy Lee and Martha Raye the most. Those are incredible.

Uh..... I choose Barbra. Every single time.

And the duet to watch is just between Judy and Barbra - forget the one with Merman, she's trying to upstage them both and Barbra rightfully lets her do so - The less known medly of love songs that they sing is absolutely wonderful.
