He actually believes he has a shot at a Presidential nomination. Forget about the damage he did to the state - to think he has a shot or is qualified borders on being delusional

Time for your medication George

I did write a little fiction sci fi short story that takes place in the future and Pataki is the president.

He is so bad in reality that despite all his visits to Iowa, I doubt he has a chance.

Anyone named Mitt should not be deluding themselves that they are grand.

Mr. Roxy, would you please be specific and cite some examples of the "damage his done to this State"?

I'm a Democrat, but I can't say he's been too bad as Governor. Heaven knows, he's with us on Gay Righta and Marriage. Does Pataki have a chance at a Presidential run? I doubt it, but this is America, where the man can at least play out his dream.

They're all posturing for position right now. And if he doesn't get the nomination he has a hell of a chance at number 2.

Number 2= your wife.

I said Pataki was for Gay Marriage.

I think you and George would make a perfectly lovely couple. Wait a minute...George has too much class to stand on top of a wedding cake beside Mr. Roxy.

I think both parties are starting to realize the secret is to become homogenized.

Etoile - isn't that how Clinton won? I do not think the same applies to Bush, especially with his second "win."

I foresee both parties looking for candidates who actually are uniters instead of dividers. At least they will if they're smart.

e - I hope so! Bush has put such a wedge between races, classes, sexes, religions, etc., it is time for some healing.

Mr. Roxy, I'm still waiting for some solid examples of the "damage" that Pataki has done to NYS. Can't you come up with any. or are you just ranting because Pataki is a Republican?

Roxy rarely revisits a thread he starts and NEVER more than once. The reason he gave up politics (but not really) is because he feels that Republicans like Pataki and Bloomberg aren't really Republicans the way he (Roxy) used to be before he gave up politics. It's circular logic at its roundest.
