I've been watching season one of Hell's Kitchen on dvd and the new season online and have a question.
Are these paying customers? I would NEVER wait 45 minutes for an appetizer or 2 hours for a main course meal. Some customers come to the counter and ask Chef Ramsey how long before they are served and he insults them (which is hilarious by the way) I know this is television and some of it is staged, but are these people actually paying for their meals for such crappy service?

Posted: 5/17/08 at 7:46pmI watch the show, but I can only guess about your question. I'll guess that when the contestants are cooking, and the show is being taped, the patrons don't pay, but at all other times, when it's a "normal" restaurant, they do? I don't know.
