Reality TV Star,Donald Trump to Moderate the Next GOP Debate

This is so sad. Is this what it has come down to? Republicans having Celebrities moderate/host their debates now? I mean, you have a joke of a celebrity like Donald Trump who made a fool out of himself with his fake Presidential run moderating a debate with "so Called" serious GOP Candidates? (anyone see how Obama and Seth Myers humiliated him at the White House Correspondence dinner this past May?) Any suggestions for future Republican celebrity moderators?

1.) Ted Nugent

2.) Victoria Jackson

3.) Pat Boone

4.) Chuck Norris

5.) Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwartzengger with explosions

6.) Dennis Miller

7.) Jerry Lewis

Any other suggestions? My guess is Obama and his staff are going to be home watching the debate with Trump moderating with popcorn and beer laughing their asses off.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I didn't think the GOP could get any more ridiculous and yet, they seem to manage it time and time again. Why don't they just have a rodeo and choose the candidate that stays on the bronco the longest?

Jon Huntsman and Ron Paul have both publicly declined the invitation with snark. Mitt Romney's team says they have no official comment yet. The chair of the RNC says the candidates need to weigh out this kind of opportunity themselves. He has not endorsed this debate.

The only person to accept the invitation is Newt Gingrich. His statement basically said "I'm doing it for the lulz." What the heck is going on here?

I remember the days when Donald Trump was known as a brilliant real estate mogul and respected for it. Somewhere along the line, he was bitten by the show business bug and now he's become a media-grabbing attention whore. He turned into a joke.

If Trump's dad hadn't built up a real estate empire for him to inherit, Donald Trump's catchprase would not be "You're fired." It would be: "Welcome to Wal-Mart. May I get you a basket, sir?"

To be fair, last I read was that the only candidate who has accepted so far is Gingrich. I don't think this is a formal GOP sanctioned event, I think it's Trump feeding his ego.

Trump has a new book coming out so he is doing and saying stuff to get himself attention. He made an a$$ out of himself on Chuck Todd's show this morning. I'm betting he will re-run for President soon.

No one is showing up. Rick Perry has declined. Mitt Romney has declined.Now even Michelle Bachman has declined.Oh, and Newt was the very first one to agree to the debate.Maybe he will invite Herman Cain to sit in,just for fun.Donald is NOT HAPPY.No one says no to the Donald. So, he will declare Newt the winner I guess.

It's official. Trump pulls out of the debate.

"It is very important to me that the right Republican candidate be chosen to defeat the failed and very destructive Obama Administration, but if that Republican, in my opinion, is not the right candidate, I am not willing to give up my right to run as an Independent candidate," Trump said in a statement. "Therefore, so that there is no conflict of interest within the Republican Party, I have decided not to be the moderator of the Newsmax debate."
