It is very disturbing to learn the show "The View" has chosen to add Rosie O'Donnell as a Co-Host. After reading the newspapers and watching ABC's (Barbra Walters) public rebuttal on Star Jones Reynolds, I have to say a poor example for our youth was set. Professionalism was replaced by Personnal feelings. The assumed reason for Star Jones Reynolds departure was related to research that showed viewers were turned off by her wedding to Al Reynolds in 2004 and her weight loss. Based on published reports, Rosie O'Donnell was among the most vocal critics of Star Reynolds' secrecy about the weight loss. First, Rosie o'Donnell should not be critical of anyone until she gets her own weight under control. Finally, it may be some truth to Star Jones Reynolds comments because why would ABC even consider bringing Rosie O'Donnell on "The View" as a Co-Host knowing her negative views about a future collegue. "The View" is not Reality TV but a family oriented show. After this week, it has become "Reality TV" and I hope Rosie O'Donnell is happy knowing she assited in ending someone's career for the wrong reasons.

Ridiculous.
Star was on her way out before the Rosie comments.
And Rosie was offered the job LONG after the comments were made.
And, by the by, Rosie's comments were not out of line in any way, shape, or form. For Star to claim that she lost all of her weight through pilates was an absolute disservice to all of her viewers and frankly, totally laughable. She was a walking lie day in and day out, and you can damn well bet that annoyed viewers. All Rosie simply did was point that out. Rosie never stated anything but fact. Star Jones completely dug her own grave in this one.
"The View" family TV? Since when?
Did you join BWW just to post this? Who are you? Star Jones' publicist?

She screams her opinions and won't listen to any other viewpoint. Viewers are anxiously waiting to see the tie-ups between Rosie and Elisabeth. BUT, the drama will be between Rosie and Joy, two outspoken comedian peas in a pod.
