Anyone know anything about Routers and Computers???
I'm having trouble with mine, and was wondering if anyone can Troubleshoot.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Power everything down... leave it for a minute, then power it back on. First the router, then the computer...

Then feel free to describe your problem if it still exists. :)

Well, this prob has been here for awhile, and I have been doing that. I tried changing the network connections, and it still didn't work. I just uninstalled then reinstalled the router, but PortMagic keeps telling me that the Router is unavailable...yet, The Wireless icon is green, meaning that it is working...and I still can't connect to the net.
Should I get rid of PortMagic?

No familiarity with PortMagic. If it's unncessary, then uninstall it.

You have an internet connection, I imagine... because we're talking?

I assume that it is wireless?

My laptop at home would not recognize the network and out of the blue found it?

If you continue having trouble you might want to tell us what kind of computer you have and wether you are wireless or not.

Good point dame...

I was under the assumption that mentioning a router counted as being a wireless...

but this is a PC...(A Dell, if you please)
