A fascinating article about gun responsibility coming from the Bay. Most people turning in weapons had inherited them but still, organizers say that at least 600 are off the street. Because responsible gun owners know better.

Buy back programs go on all the time. The guns they get don't make a dent in crime, just help people clean out their closets.

You just have a negative response to every positive response on this issue.
That kind of negating was fostered by the NRA and it won't work anymore. It's just Gun Addiction.
No more.

Yawper, and how many accidental deaths were prevented because the guns were removed from the home?
How many crimes of impulse were prevented?
If you have a moment in time to try and change behavior, take it and do what you can in the moment while you plan for long term change.
