Mine is that the Empire State Building changes the color of its lights to celebrate holidays and events.

Love it!

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. I am in LA and I am grateful for SO much here, always having something to do on a moments notice, the weather always being so nice, the fact that only 20 min in either direction of my house is a beautiful beach or the beautiful mountians!

Hate to be boring and just say the same thing, but here in SoCal it's hard not to appreciate the weather - sun and warmth pretty much year-round. Oh, I'll say Disneyland, too, just to add SOMETHING different re: Share One Thing...

Yes. We are extremely lucky out here. We just don't like it when it shakes.

I take for granted that I can talk to/see a very good friend of mine whenever I want to.... (he works 3 blocks away from me)

It wasn't until he went on a 3 week vacation and I only saw/talked to him twice that I realized just how much I take that for granted.

Luckily he's back now and I can harrass him whenever I want lol

Not exactly a geographical thing, but nonetheless... re: Share One Thing...

As for legit geographical things.... Umm.. the fact that I have a backyard and a front porch. I never realized how much I'd miss it until the short time when I was living in an apartment building.

I'm grateful for the people in this country- as outspoken and rude as can be, but also extremely generous, warm and friendly. They are what makes this place what it is.
Oh, and the weather ain't too bad, either. re: Share One Thing... (Israel)

I'm grateful, also, for the small town atmosphere...being able to traverse my town from one side to the other and back in less than 15 minutes.(assuming you don't hit a stop light)
