is there any song you hear on the radio, the second you hear it, it takes ya back.
for me, wake me up when september ends by green day takes me right back to gainesville. and cruel summer summers in maine

Oh heavens, this is embarrassing....
"Mmm Bop", that horrible Hanson parasite, brings me back to middle school and the euphoria of first love with my first boyfriend.
Well...after I choke down the vomit anyway.

My favorite song as a kid: "Angel of the Morning." One of my earliest memories is when I was four and on a roadtrip with my family. We were in a restaurant somewhere in southern California, and when that song came on, I jumped up from the table, ran into the (empty) bar and started singing it at the top of my lungs.

"Mrs. Robinson" reminds me of a road trip that my family and I took ten years ago.
"California Dreams" reminds me of Florida, for some reason.
"Semi-Charmed Life" reminds me of freshman year in high school.

We were breaking the "no more than one passenger in your car if you're under 17" rule and everyone was singing it. And I think that was the first time I realized I'd met people with whom I actually connected.

"I can't wait" by Nu Shooz...my sister played that song OVER and OVER.
The Carpenters singles album: I used to listen to that while I played video games at 8 or 9 (mostly Super Mario Brothers). To this day, "It's Going To Take Some Time" makes me think of those little bitey plants coming out of the pipes.
Yes. The gay signs were there quite early.
