I LOVE this movie! I haven't watched it this season yet, so I'd better get my fix tomorrow. There could be no more fitting day.

Posted: 12/24/06 at 11:07pmI love this movie but I can't stand it (or anything else for that matter)on TBS. It's edited and there are way too many commercials. I do watch it when it is shown on Turner Classic Movies. That version is uncut and there are no commercials.

It's a Wonderful Life was on earlier, and now I'll fall asleep to TBS! I adore A Christmas Story. Darrin McGavin is amazing. And I can't believe Scott Schwartz became a porn star!

Posted: 12/25/06 at 3:19amPBS in San Francisco ran some old Christmas variety TV shows tonight. First up was a special taken from the old "ABC Hollywood Palace" show from the 60's-70's. It featured Christmas segments with Bing Crosby and Perry Como. After that, there was a special which had segments from "The Andy Williams Christmas Show" which was on NBC each year from 1962-1973. The Osmonds were on that show, including a very young pre-teen Donny.

I was watching the marathon earlier with my parents.
I forgot how brilliantly funny the movie is.
The Chinese restaraunt scene is the best. "It's smiling at me!"

I adore this movie.
I've watched it atleast three times in the past 24 hours in between ABC FAMILY's cartoons and ELF.
About to turn on the FINAL SHOWING.
