Since the Yankees and the Mets have their own threads, I figured why not make one for the rest of us who are fans of other teams.
I'll start off by saying GO PHILLIES!! Tied for the Wild Card with the Dodgers....

I'm a Philadelphia sports fan...of course I am jealous of ANY city that has won ANY championship in ANY of the four major sports in the past 25 years, because we haven't

Zito has really let himself go. He used to be quite the attractive guy.

Anyway, his contract is up this year with Oakland and I am sure the Yankees will try and steal him just as they have done with many other Oakland stars (Reggie, Ricky, Jason.....)

Additionally, Barry Zito's name wouldn't exactly be a draw; most baseball fans who know more than the name "Derek Jeter" aren't exactly interested in Broadway anyway.

Even though the Red Sox have had a really crappy second half of the season I still love them! When it comes to the playoffs I'm rooting for any team other than New York(both teams).
The towel waving reminded me of a Per?nist rally. I kept chanting "Evita!" whenever they'd pan to the crowds. - SM2
