truly great band. Their cd is brilliant! anyone agree?
Riot Van is, without a doubt, my favorite song!

I would like to say, just for the record, that I liked Arctic Monkeys before it was cool, okay?
Did you see them on SNL a few weeks ago? They were alright, but totally didn't do justice to their CD.

Love 'em.
They were a part of Best Week Ever a couple weeks ago and people were talking about how they got hyped SOO quickly...it was hilarious. "Arctic Monkeys became my favorite band before I ever heard them or knew what they looked like. I finally got around to actually listening to their music, and you know what? They rock!" I forget who said that but it had me hysterical laughing for a while

Posted: 3/31/06 at 8:44amI have heard one or two songs from their cd and it is "ok", but in no way the British press should have had their cd go to the 5th best rock album of all time in their first week of release. That is insane. They beat out the beatles, Oasis, the Who, etc. I mean, come on!

Ok, even if you don't like Oasis . . . The Arctic Monkeys beat out the Who, Beatles, Rolling Stones, and many many many more artists and albums that should have been in that spot.
By the way, I like "Riot Van" too
