The automakers union overwhelmingly supported Obama . He is now making them walk the plank.I wonder how they are feeling about now .
They thought this was their hand picked candidate and he is really going to the mat with them.Concessions do need to be made but until the economy rights itself, no amount of concessions will help.

Posted: 3/30/09 at 8:45pmYou're mixing metaphors again. Baseball. Pirates. Hard to tell if you think Obama is doing the right thing or the wrong thing? Not surprising, since you are unable to express yourself with clarity and you don't seem to be able to analyze anything that hasn't been put in digestible bumper sticker blurbs by the Daily News.

Or spaceships?
You'll have to ask
Roxy
The New York Post is here
Let's see what is on the front page
"Desperate Dems Pull Out All the Stops"?
I'm sure Roxy's ready to hit the stage!
So if it's hyperbole you seek
C'mere and meet

He's always here to play his part (except when paying taxes)
If high ticket prices are here to stay
Roxy'll complain and pay them anyway

Just so you know, Roxy, Hillary was Michigan's first choice. Secondly, the UAW has already made major concessions and the primary sticking point with them now is how to finance the retiree health care plan.
The biggest problem for GM isn't the UAW, it's the bondholders. Bankruptcy doesn't disband the UAW but it does make the bondholders go away.
